As the followers of a Prophet who declared, "He is not a believer who fills his stomach while his neighbor goes hungry," we cannot remain silent to the cries of hunger and poverty right next to us. The Mübeşşir Association Hot Meal Project was established to brighten the tables of our brothers and sisters who cannot light their stoves at home due to poverty, old age, illness, or loneliness, and who long for a warm bowl of soup. Every bite cooked with love and prayers in our soup kitchens not only nourishes bodies but also restiches our forgotten bonds of neighborliness and brotherhood.
Why is it Important?: In our society, thousands of lonely individuals live who are unable to cook their own meals due to physical disabilities, advanced age, or severe illnesses. At the same time, for low-income families struck by economic crises, preparing a balanced, warm meal every day has become a massive financial burden. This project, while fostering mutual aid and solidarity within our community (Charter Article 2), aims to be the solace for the lonely, making them feel that they are not abandoned and that a grand collective will stands right behind them.
How Do We Implement It?: In our fully-equipped, hygiene-certified institutional kitchens belonging to our association, a 3-course hot meal with nutritional values balanced by experts is prepared daily. The meals are packaged in a manner worthy of human dignity using special food containers and leak-proof packaging. They are then driven by our mobile distribution vehicles straight to the doorsteps of our elderly, disabled citizens, and families in need, and delivered directly into their hands.
